PAMELA GODDARD, As Time Draws Near, (Copper and Wheat 10557)
An avid collector of traditional songs for many years,
Goddard's deep love of the old melodies extends particularly
to the Warner and Flanders collections, and she includes
several on this debut CD. She brings a rich alto voice to
the old songs and ballads, and her dulcimer accompaniments
are augmented by fiddle and guitar. Great unaccompanied
singing, too.
